Blackhawks acquire Pirri from Golden Knights

The Chicago Blackhawks acquired forward Brandon Pirri from the Vegas Golden Knights on Monday in exchange for forward Dylan Sikura.

This will be Pirri's second stint with the Blackhawks. He appeared in 35 games over parts of four seasons (2010-14) with the franchise before being traded to the Florida Panthers in March 2014.

Pirri, 29, has scored 121 points (72 goals, 49 assists) in 275 career games. He has also played for the Panthers (2014-16), Anaheim Ducks (2016), New York Rangers (2016-17) and Golden Knights.

Pirri scored a career-high 22 goals for Florida in the 2014-15 season. He had two assists in 16 games for Vegas last season.

Sikura tallied 14 career points (one goal, 13 assists) in 47 games with the Blackhawks (2017-20).

The 25-year-old had one goal and two assists in nine games with Chicago last season.
